Vibration Sensors

Low vibration environments cannot be tested without ultra-sensitive vibration sensors. Sensors invented by the AIGRC gravity wave physicists, based on the use of sapphire dielectric resonators (as shown in the picture bellow), are much more sensitive than any commercial device and offer opportunities for exploitation in conjunction with vibration isolation technology. Acoustic materials such as niobium and sapphire with almost zero losses can lead to new technologies from music to low noise sensing.
